The student fraternity is a powerful force for reform. We've seen it all through history, especially in the 20th century.
In Chile, Pinochet's military dictatorship, today, struggles to suppress the growing student revolution. These students have kept alive the legacy of the workers, and Allende, their socialist president, fighting against the all-powerful army and police. Last May, 190 students were violently arrested, beaten up and released late at night. This, was just routine brutality against a demo.
The pro-democracy student movement in Iran has kept Mr. Khatami and his conservative government at the edge of their seats.
In Sudan, in the 1970s, when the islamist thinkers mobilised the student body in the anti-western movement, they sparked a raging blaze the grows even today. Yes, beloved Mr.

Standing united, we, the youth, have a voice, stronger than we can imagine. We symbolize energy, fresh thought, and action!
